Stage to Page

Tutor: Carmina Masoliver
Date: Saturday 28 April 2018, 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Fee: £35
Location: 1 Dock Offices, Surrey Quays Road, Canada Water, SE16 2XU

Take inspiration from poets who occupy both stage and page, and explore how to transform existing performance work onto the page. This workshop invites participants who regularly perform their work to consider their poetry on the page. We will look at examples of poets who successfully occupy both spaces, and discuss what aspects to consider when transforming existing work onto the page. We will begin to create some new work, thinking about how we can experiment with the page as a canvas for poetry that is both aurally and visually appealing. Book A Place
